Register for Classes FAQ

As you register, pay attention to the types of classes you're signing up for. We offer:

  • Face-to-face (ground) classes (100% on campus).  Students must attend on campus at pre-set times and non pre-set days.
  • Hybrid classes (50% on campus and 50% online).  Students must attend on campus when classes meet physically. and must participate virtually when class meets online.  Instructor is responsible for creating the schedule.
  • Flex classes are ground classes that meet on campus weekly.  While class is in session, it is also streamed out "live" remotely for viewing access. Students facing temporary conflicts, emergencies or work or child care issues can join class via video streaming means when warranted. Testing, however, is done in class; students must attend class on testing days.
  • Online classes (100% online with 24/7 course access).  Class is conducted online 100% of the time.
  • Virtual classes (online but delivered via video conferencing on specific days and times).  Classes meet virtually online at set     days and times.  Students must have reliable Internet, a computer and camera to engage in class weekly.

Speak with an advisor if you are not sure what types of class is best for you.
