For Daniel Burrell, Consistency is Key

For business major and student ambassador Daniel Burrell, Lawson State became a place where discipline, consistency, and purpose took root. Balancing school, part-time work, and military service in the National Reserves pushed him to grow in so many ways.

"There were moments when things felt overwhelming," said the 2025 graduate. "But Lawson taught me not to chase instant results, and to keep the bigger picture in mind. I can say that being here gave me a strong foundation and showed me that the moments I wanted to quit were the same moments that helped me grow the most."

Daniel will transfer to Alabama A&M University, where he plans to join the Army ROTC program while exploring his passion for entrepreneurship. Ultimately, he hopes to secure a U.S. Army commission, as well as grow his business interests and long-term investments.

His experience at Lawson reinforced an essential truth: "I learned to stay grounded, move with purpose, and trust the vision I'm working toward."
