Lawson State is opening its doors for Preview Days this summer, including sessions on Thursday, June 26 from 5 to 6 p.m. on the college's Birmingham campus.
Preview Days are intended for students and families to learn what the college has to offer, and how they can take advantage of degree programs, short- and long-term certificates, and other resources.
"It's the perfect setting for anyone interested in exploring Lawson's academic and career technical education programs," said Stephon Adams, director of admissions. "People can also learn about our wraparound services. We just want to showcase the amazing departments that we have at Lawson State!"
In addition, a special Resource Fair is planned for Thursday, July 10 from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Lawson State's Bessemer campus.
During these and other on-campus events, faculty and staff members often answer questions about financial aid, scholarships, registration, student support services, on-campus activities, and class preparation. In addition, some faculty members offer hands-on demonstrations reflecting their programs.
