Youth Robotics Camp Hosted by Lawson State Community College

Lawson State Community College is preparing to host a four-day Youth Robotics Camp, which will offer young people the unique opportunity to dive into the interesting world of robotics. During this action-packed camp attendees will get hands-on experience programming robots in a simulated setting, along with the chance to watch the programs come to life in a real industrial robot.

"The Robotics summer camp is designed to introduce high school students to the exciting and high-demand field of industrial robotics. In the camp, students will work to build and program mobile robots in fun interactive sessions," said Rich Raymond, Lawson State Chair/Instructor Center for Manufacturing and Engineering Technology.

If you know a student interested in learning more about robotics this may be the spark they need to ignite their passion. The Youth Robotics Camp takes place July 8, 2024-July 11, 2024, at Lawson State Community College (Bessemer Campus). There is no cost to attend the robotics camp, but registration is required.
