The TECH by Mercedes-Benz program provides education and training in Mercedes vehicle technology. Students gain the technical competence and professionalism expected of an off-line automotive service technician at a manufacturing facility.

Benefits of Choosing Mercedes-Tech

The TECH by Mercedes-Benz program is a 5-semester program in which students receive Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certifications and an Associate in Applied Science degree.  Students will rotate on-campus instruction with paid on-the-job work at the MBUSI assembly plant in Vance, AL.  Graduates are hired as repair technicians or other production area positions at the manufacturing facility.

Program Requirements

This program offers an Associate in Applied Science Degree.

This degree is designed for students seeking to become multi-skilled technicians. The AAS includes both a primary technical specialty and a secondary technical specialty. Click to learn more about the Associate in Applied Science degree in Automotive Service.

Applicants interested in becoming a member of the next Class must apply prior to the start of the Fall Semester. The application process includes the following steps:

Complete the Mercedes TECH application via the website. Applications open each February and close on June 15.

Applicant will need to complete the Mercedes Interview process at the Plant in order to be accepted.
