Lawson State Community College seeks to provide all employees with the information necessary to understand what to expect from their employment with the college as well as what the college expects of its employees. All Lawson State Community College employees should acquaint themselves with the College’s policies and procedures and employee handbook. Lawson State's Employee Handbook is published to provide current and prospective information about the College; its policies, procedures and processes.  The information contained in this handbook should be viewed as a guide (only) and is subject to change as a result of action by federal, state or accrediting agencies, or via the President's Administrative Cabinet or the college's Expanded Cabinet. Lawson State Community College adheres to all Alabama Community College System policies and procedures.
