On-Campus Testing for the ACT
The ACT On-Campus™ test is an alternative to the ACT® test that enables colleges to proctor and immediately self-score an ACT test form any day of the week, on their campus. Testing is limited to students who are in the application process, have been admitted, or have enrolled at your institution.
Eligibility
Students—ACT On-Campus Testing may be administered to students who are unable to take the ACT test on a regularly scheduled test date. All students making application to the Nursing Program must take the ACT National or the ACT On-Campus exam. The cost to take the exam is
$71.00 (non-refundable) and must be paid 24 hours prior to the schedule testing date. If you have taken the ACT National or ACT On-Campus (formerly Residual) exams within the last 60 days, you are not eligible to retest.

vthigpen@lawsonstate.edu. The test will be administered on the Birmingham Campus (3060 Wilson Road, Birmingham, Alabama 35221) and you must arrive at least fifteen (15) minutes prior to the beginning of the test.
Test Dates
The 2022-2023 ACT On-Campus testing year runs November 1, 2022 through September 30, 2023. There is no testing during the month of October. Testing will start promptly on test day.
Official photo identification is required. You may bring two (2) #2 pencils, a mechanical pencil is not allowed. Calculators can be used while taking the Math exam, no other items will be allowed. However, scratch paper will be provided.
Payments can be made at the cashier’s office on the Birmingham campus (3060 Wilson Road, Birmingham, Alabama 35221). Space is limited.
