Medical Terminology Online
Step by step instructions for registering to take online quizzes:
(You only have to register one time)
Step 1 – Access the internet and enter www.drtracey.net in the address field. Not the search field. If you did this step correctly you should see “Dr. Wilson’s Course Website” at the top of the page.
Step 2 – From “Dr. Wilson’s Course Website” click the menu button that says ‘Medical Term’. If you did this step correctly you should see “Medical Terminology Online” at the top of the page.
Step 3 – From the “Medical Terminology Online” homepage click the menu button that says ‘Schedule’. If you did this step correctly you should see “Medical Terminology Schedule” at the top of the page.
Step 4 – From the “Medical Terminology Schedule” page, scroll down to the bottom of the page and click where it says “If you haven't registered to take online quizzes, Click Here for instructions.” If you did this step correctly you should see a page that says ‘Assignments’ at the top of the page.
Step 5 – From the ‘Assignments’ page, make sure you read the entire page. Scroll down to the middle of the page and click where it says, “If you haven’t registered to take the online quizzes, Click Here to register.” If you did this step correctly you should see page that says, ‘MT BIO’ and ‘Student Registration’ at the top of the page.
Step 6 – From the ‘Student Registration’ page, scroll down to the middle of the page and click the gray bar that says ‘Create New Account’. If you did this step correctly you should see a page that says ‘Create New Account’ at the top of the page.
Step 7 – Complete all required fields and please include your telephone number. You have to make up your own user ID and password but they should be easy for you to remember because you will need them every time you take a quiz. The ‘Course Registration Password’ is TITANS (be sure to use all capital letters). Once you have filled in all of the required fields click the gray button that says ‘Create’. If you did this step correctly, you should see the following sentence near the top of the page in red text: Your new PageOut® account has been created and you are now registered for this course web site!
You are now finished with the registration process. From now on you can go to the ‘Medical Terminology Schedule Page’ (Step 3 above) and click on an assignment link to access your quiz and assignment information. REMEMBER, you will need your user ID and password to access the quiz so keep up with them. If you had trouble with the registration process contact me immediately.
There is a practice quiz online that you should take before taking your assigned quizzes. You need to get a feel for what you will experience during the process of taking your quizzes online. If you have difficulty or are unable to complete the practice quiz for some reason, DO NOT use the same computer to take the quizzes that will be graded. Contact me immediately for assistance.
