Pike's Nursery Classes

In addition to our regular for-credit class schedule, we will be offering two classes at Pike’s Nursery on Highway 280 this Spring.  They are designed for home-owners who have little or no background in Horticulture.

The first class will be “Residential Landscape Planning”.  It will run for four sessions from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. and will cost $45 total.

The dates are: February 13, 20, 27, and March 6.  The landscape planning course will cover plant selection, site surveying, planting and establishment, calculating materials, etc.

The second class will be “Using Annuals and Perennials in the Home Landscape”.  It will run for four sessions from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. and will cost $45 total.

The dates are March 15, 22, 29, and April 5.

The instructor for both classes will be Trey Tarrant who has an M.S. in Horticulture from Auburn University, and extensive experience in landscape installation and design.  All are welcomed to attend.
