General Studies (all College Transferable Majors) & Certificate Programs

General Studies program offerings are varied and broad and are designed to serve the needs of those students wishing to one day transfer to a four year college.  To view a complete General Studies listing of transferable courses under STARS click on the Degree Search icon below.  Please be advised that although Lawson State Community College offers the majority of these programs of study, some unique majors may be limited in terms of course offerings (under Area V), if few majors are enrolled at the college during a given period of time.  However, the college is dedicated to individual student academic goals.  Hence, it is vital that students always speak to their advisor about program selection, course availability and program completion.  General Studies students should also ALWAYS print off a STARS Guide to ensure they are taking the appropriate classes based on their specific program of study that is intended to transfer.
