How to Schedule Your Online Proctored Exam with ProctorU

Go online and register with ProctorU to set up your account.

Step 1: Secure Your Equipment

You will need the following to test via ProctorU.

1.  Computer with Internet Access

2.  A Mountable WebCam

3.  A Headset with both Audio and Microphone Attachments

Step 2:  Register with ProctorU.  It's Free

Go online and register with ProctorU to set up your account.

Step 3:  Test Your Equipment

1. Check the Technical Requirements for Online Proctored Exam to make sure you have the right computer equipment.
2. Test your system’s equipment using the ProctorU System Test.

Step 4: Schedule Your Exam

1. Click the Schedule or Take an Exam link above
2. Create a new user account and ProctorU log-in/password (if this is your first time scheduling an exam with ProctorU).

   

3. Accept the Terms of Service.
4. Update your profile.

   

5. Click the New Exam tab to schedule your exam date and time.
6. Select the Name of Exam from drop down menu, the exam date from the calendar, and the desired start time.

   

7. Review your choices and click the Add Reservation button.

Step 5:  Pay Your Testing Fees

1. Click OK to go to the payment screen.
2. Click the Pay for the Exam button (using either a debit or credit card).   Click here for Testing FEES. 
3. Enter the appropriate credit/debit card information and click Submit payment.  You will have to pay each time you schedule an individual test.
4. You will see an exam confirmation page and will receive an email message with your scheduled exam information.

Step 6: Take Your Exam

1. Click Schedule or Take an Exam and log in with the ProctorU login/password you created when you scheduled your exam.
2. A message button will appear that states, "You have an exam. Click here to begin." NOTE: If you arrive early, you will see a countdown timer. The message button will only activate at the scheduled exam start time.
3. Click on the link, and you will be connected to a proctor who will guide you through the rest of your proctored exam process.
