Andria has been involved in dancing for over 15 years, beginning as a high school dancer at George Washington Carver High School.  She is a Lawson State Community College Alumni and was a member of the 2004-205 Golden Essence Dance Team.  Andria graduated in 2005 with an Associate of Science in Pre- Teacher Education and became the assistant dance coach of the LSCC Golden Essence Dance Team.  She served as the assistant dance coach from six years.
In 2011 Andria was excited about the opportunity to be the Head Coach of the LSSC Golden Essence Dance Team. She hopes to build not only a powerful dance program, but a positive dance program at LSCC.


 

    Auxiliaries Coordinator Katrina Harrell

 

 

 

 Katrina Harrell has been an educator for over 19 years, serving Lawson State for 14 years. Her primary position is an enrollment specialist at Lawson. She has been involved with dance for over 30 years. She has danced and coached for numerous years throughout high school, college and community. In 2002, Katrina (along with a former co-worker) founded the "Golden Essence" Dance Team of Lawson State. For nine years, she was the head coach and in 2011, she was given the opportunity to coordinate both dance team and cheerleaders. Katrina received her BS from the University of Alabama-Birmingham and her MS from Alabama A&M Unviersity.
