If a student tests in a developmental course, he or she must complete at least one sequence of their developmental courses before being eligible to retake the Compass Exam again. Retake fees are $8.00 payable by cash, check, money-order, or major credit card.  (See test administrator)

During the first 7 days of class, developmental students in English and math are given a Diagnostic Exam. Students scoring 80% or higher on this exam will be automatically moved to the next level. There is no fee attached to this exam.
