BARBERING (BAR) |

MISSION:
The mission of the program is to prepare
graduates to be successful in hairstyling
and personal appearance industry. The
barbering program is to prepare students in
the art and science of haircutting, styling,
treating scalp disorders, hair cleansing,
manicures, pedicures, first aid and
bacteriology. Students will learn
municipal and state regulations pertaining
to cosmetology, chemistry, tinting,
bleaching, coloring, and dyeing hair. This
program consists of one short certificate
and one certificate. |
