Narrative:
Lawson State Community College is in compliance
with its program responsibilities under Title IV of the 1998 Higher Education Amendments. The Higher Education Act Mandates are outlined on the web. The Program Participation (Agreement) is valid through June 2009. The Lawson State Community College Student
Financial Services Department is compliant with all annual audit and review
requirements for the administration of Title IV student aid funds. Funds are provided for Pell Grant,
Federal Supplemental Educational Opportunity Grant (FSEOG), Federal Work-Study
(FCWS) and the Academic Competitiveness Grant.
Lawson State Community College does not
participate in the Federal Family Educational Loan program. Annual audits are conducted and show no
findings or violations with the administration of Title IV funds. The Fiscal Operations Report and Application
to Participate (FISAP REPORTS 2005-2006, 2006-2007, 2007-2008) and the required annual audits (2005-2006 ; 2006-2007) are
completed and electronically submitted to the Department of Education in
accordance with federal regulations. The
College meets all reporting requirements of the U.S. Department of
Education. Federal Pell Grant activity
is reported online through the Common Origination and
Disbursement Process.
