Narrative:
The administrative and academic officers employed by
Lawson State Community College possess the experience, competence, and capacity
to lead the college. Each has the
credentials and experience necessary to fulfill their identified
responsibilities. Lawson State Community College demonstrates compliance by
providing evidence that its organizational charts are current (LSCC
Organization Chart) (Instructional
Services Organization Chart) and that the administrative and
academic officers of the college are qualified to hold their positions, as
documented below. Alabama State Board of
Education policy (Policy 602.02) (Policy 604.02) (Policy 605.01) and (Policy 207.01)
stipulates that administrative personnel directly responsible to the president
must possess appropriate credentials, experience and/or demonstrated competence
appropriate to their areas of responsibility.
The president of the college has the responsibility for all employee
actions of the college.
