The Chancellor evaluates the performance of
Presidents. The results of such
evaluations are reported to the Alabama State Board of Education. President’s serving more than three (3)
years are evaluated biennially.*
Administrator evaluation components include leadership
responsibilities, management of personnel and customer service,
professional development, communication and teamwork, professional
responsibilities, and technology skills.
Completed evaluations are forwarded to the immediate
supervisor. The immediate supervisor
reviews all evaluations and forwards the originals to the Office of Human
Resources for inclusion in the employees personnel file. Employees and supervisors are encouraged
to maintain a copy of the completed evaluation and applicable documents.
