Narrative:
Lawson State Community
College is authorized by the Alabama State Board of Education (Policy 101.01) to offer the Associate in Arts Degree (A.A.), the Associate in
Science Degree (A.S.), the Associate in Applied Science Degree (A.A.S.) and the
Associate in Occupational Technology Degree (A.O.T.). The College is also authorized to offer
certificates for students who plan to seek employment based upon the
competencies and skills attained through certificate programs of study. (Policy 712.01)
