CONGRATS goes to the Business and Information Technologies Department PBL Chapter, Ms. Alfreda King, Advisor. Eight students, the advisor, and Mr. Carl Davis (Chaperon) traveled to Denver, Colorado (July 9-13) for the PBL National Conference. Courtney Fitts, Lawson PBL President, and Jennifer White placed 5th in the nation for the American Enterprise Manual. The Manual was based on content, grammar, structure, originality, and performance. The subject was “Grant Writing”. The members are eagerly waiting next year for the annual State PBL Conference.
The following students placed FIRST PLACE that qualified them for national competition. They all agreed that PBL competition truly prepares you for the "real world of work".
