Learn skills to prepare for an Alabama Power Company pre-employment test.  Jobs include entry-level positions in power delivery transmissions with an opportunity to prepare for journeyman-level linemen and electrician/ wiremen classifications.

 

 

Step 1 Call 426-7310 to attend an orientation.  The College is accepting 25 prospective Alabama Power employees for the first program.
   
Step 2 Attend the orientation session and make arrangements to take the TABE assessment to determine your skill levels.
   
Step 3 Select a time to work on your skill sets.  The lab is open from 8:00 am until 8 pm, M-Th, 8:00 am – 3:00 pm on Fridays and from 9:00 am until noon on Saturdays.
   
Step 4 Participate in the exit interview and job readiness seminar and receive your gold, silver or bronze program certificate.
