Congratulations goes to Ms. Nicosia Brewer--the 2005 Magic City Classic Scholarship ($1,000) winner for Lawson State Community College.  Ms. Brewer is a Business Administration and Management major in the Business and Information Technologies Department at Lawson State.

 

Ms. Brewer was awarded the scholarship during the Annual Magic City Classic Scholarship Breakfast sponsored by Accenture (October 28, 2005).  The Breakfast was held at the Harbert Center in Downtown Birmingham.

 

She submitted her essay entitled, "“What Responsibilities Do African American Professionals Have In Building Wealth In Our Community?”

 

Upon graduation in May, Nicosia plans to enter the Real Estate arena.
